Know what you are buying before you deploy it.
The product page and formal licence agreement remain authoritative. This guide explains the practical difference between common DevWebThemes licence choices.
Regular License
A normal production deployment
- Use the product for the production domain allowance shown on its product page.
- Local/staging installations are allowed only within the product’s stated licence terms.
- The raw source package cannot be redistributed or resold as another template/script.
- End-user charging must follow the product’s licence description.
Extended License
Broader commercial deployment
- Designed for the wider commercial/SaaS or multi-domain rights stated on that product page.
- Does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying DevWebThemes source.
- Does not permit repackaging the raw source as a competing marketplace product.
- Product-specific limits still apply even when an Extended Licence is purchased.
Licence activation
Commercial products may ask for the DevWebThemes licence code and purchase email during installation. Activation can be bound to an installation/domain so legitimate buyers can manage authorised deployments. Do not share your licence code publicly.
Support versus updates
A paid product includes 6 months of product support from the purchase date unless the product page explicitly states a different term. Lifetime product updates are a separate benefit and do not disappear merely because the support period has ended.
What support does not mean
Product support is not unlimited custom programming, managed hosting, server administration or redesign work. Professional installation and custom feature development are separate paid services when offered.
Moving a licence
When a product supports domain deactivation/reassignment, remove the old production activation before moving the licence to a new domain. Keep staging/local environments within the limits shown on the product page.
